Dark Vision

A vintage horror soundset for u‑he Diva

Dark Vision is OSL’s homage to the horror film scores of the late 1970s and early 1980s, when pioneering composers armed with analog synthesizers reinvented the soundtrack of cinema.

The set contains 128 brand new patches inspired by legendary composers such as John Carpenter, Alan Howarth, Fabio Frizzi, John Harrison, Claudio Simonetti, Charles Bernstein and Jay Chattaway as well as the contemporary musicians who continue their sonic legacy.

Inside you will discover ominous basses, dusty keys, piercing leads, dark pads and drones, spooky bells, spine-chilling strings, sinister sweeps, experimental sound effects and more. Most of the patches have parameters mapped to modwheel and aftertouch, and NKS patches are included for integration with Native Instruments hardware.

Dark Vision will appeal to musicians influenced by the iconic tones of horror cinema, whether you compose film scores or produce in a genre such as Synthwave, Horror Disco or Dark Ambient.
